Visit incredible Castle Konopiště, the home of Austro-Hungarian crown Archduke Franz Ferdinand d’Este who was assassinated in Sarajevo in 1914 which started WWI. This is a beautiful experience with a lovely walk in the baroque summer gardens. Great for a family trip with a protective moat with bears for the kids. A nice cute train ride is also available for the whole family through the immense castle grounds.
